Gator 2009 Season Predictions
This season Florida will be without Percy Harvin, who has gone to Minnesota, but the Gators don't need him to win. We have Tebow, we have the running backs threat, we have the defense, we have the special teams, Florida has everything bi-atch! Of course like every year I predict the Florida Gators won't lose a game (although they have never achieved this feat). Here is the schedule:
Charleston Southern
Pfft. P-lease. Tebow will crush them in the first half then let John Brantley finish it.
Florida 63-0
Troy
Last time, Florida gave up 31 points to them, but we have better defense than that.
Florida 52-7
Tennessee
Urban, meet the Kiffins. Tennessee will improve on defense, but will lag in offense again.
Florida 27-10
@ Kentucky
How many times in a row has Florida beaten them?
Florida 45-6
@ LSU
First major test of the season. Florida came close 2 years ago to winning in Baton Rouge, but 2 turnovers late in the game screwed them. But last year they finished weak and will carry that over to this year. Tebow will get his revenge.
Florida 31-14
Arkansas
Fact: Arkansas has never beaten Florida as an SEC team.
Florida 52-13
@ Mississippi State
Hmmm, Florida has also never won in Starkville since 1985, but that was only 4 games and this is a different season. This should be interesting, but still.
Florida 35-0
VS Georgia
No Stafford, no Moreno, no Massaquoi, no chance.
Florida 38-7
Vanderbilt
Same question with Kentucky, how many victories in a row? But Vanderbilt is always tricky, but I doubt an upset.
Florida 48-3
@ South Carolina
Hey Spurrier, find better players!
Florida 51-10
Florida International
Pfft.
Florida 73-0
Florida State
I hope this will be the last game Bowden will ever play against us, the dude is older than fucking McCain! I used to remember when this game was important.
Florida 38-10
Of course this is assuming the defense for Florida doesn't give up BS points while the offense scores over 40 points a game. I doubt that any team can only allow 6 points a game. I predict without Harvin, Rainey and Demps will both run for a thousand yards. I predict Tebow will settle in as a shotgun quarterback and only run on short yardage plays and scrambles. Spikes and the defense will shine. I predict this barring injuries (or arrests). Meyer should go back to the championship game and win his third trophy in five seasons.
