the people have spoken
You are right dude, they have spoken. That does not though make it right. In 2000, 61% voted in California for a similar amendment to ban gay marriage. In 2008, that number was 52%. If the amendment is put up for a third vote, the people will vote to legalize gay marriage. It took a while for the voters to accept civil rights for black people, it will take time to establish marriage equality.

“It took a while for the voters to accept civil rights for black people, it will take time to establish marriage equality.”
to compare the plight and unjustices of black people with the unnatural and perverse – lifestyle of *choice* – of homosexuals is ludicrous and demeaning.
‘marriage equality’??? an invented term to justify their sickening lifestyle.
so….. when can I get ‘marriage equality’ to marry my dog, my cat, my gerbil, or maybe a tree??? after all, ‘it’s just another form of love’.
what about ‘marriage equality’ for NAMBLA? after all, ‘it’s just another form of love’.
btw, even YOUR candidate NoBama (and vp pic) defines marriage as that of ‘between a man and a women’. DAMN! WHAT A HOMOPHOBE!

Homosexuality is not a choice, it is something you are born with like skin color or gender. Of course you can sort of change you gender like Ann Coulter, but it won’t change completely.
Obama said that was what he personally viewed marriage to be, but he opposed the Prop 8.
